  • Unless you've met me personally, all you can tell about me so far is that I'm some geek designing websites for fun. Which, although true, is only one level of my many levels of geekdom. This page explores those other levels.

Music

  • As anyone who knows me well enough will attest to, I have pretty weird taste in music for a high school student. Most bands I listen to had their "15 minutes" in the 90's. Just one example is the band Spin Doctors, they had a few hits in 1991 off the album Pocket Full of Kryptonite. After that they faded into oblivion, with only me and seven other people left to buy their next three albums. A few other of my favorite bands are:

    • Blues Traveler
Having basically two, possibly three, hits in their career, (But Anyway, Run Around, and possibly Hook) Blues Traveler also faded into oblivion after the 90's. They still make studio albums every two to three years, the most recent one being North Hollywood Shootout, and I own and constantly listen to every single one. Blues Traveler is probably my favorite band.

    • Level 42
Level 42 is a particularly unknown band, considering that they were never really big at all. (At least not in the U.S.) They didn't even release the majority of their albums in the U.S. and the only reason I have them, is because my dad special ordered them from England.

    • Counting Crows
Finally, a band at least some people have heard of! I don't know much about their history, like I do with Spin Doctors or Blues Traveler, but I do know that I love their music, and listen to it a lot.

    • Hanson
Yes, I'm openly admitting that I listen to Hanson. They're great songwriters, and great composers (considering their age). They don't make up much of my listening time, but I still enjoy listening to them.

    • Brad Paisley
Probably one of the best guitarists on the planet, second only to Steve Vai. For a sampling of his guitar skills, just youtube Cluster Pluck or Time Warp. The majority of his songs also have a masculine/cynical sense of humor to them, like If Love was a Plane, its chorus ending in "If love was a plane nobody'd get on".

Apple

  • I'm addicted to all things apple, I watch their stockholder meetings, I read reviews and explanations of all their products, and I'm the proud owner of an iPhone, and a G5 Mac Pro.

  • My iPhone is my addiction, I spend four to five hours of every day doing something with it. It contains my entire life, and I'm not sure I'd remember how to breath without it.

  • The past two years of my life have been dedicated to saving up for a Macbook. I'm a little over half way there, and as soon as I get off my butt and get a job, I'll have it in no time.

Miscellaneous

  • I am agnostic. The way I look at it, I can be a decent human being without the threat of eternal damnation.

  • I'm a Nintendo fanboy, and to this day will tell you that my N64 was the best Christmas present I ever got.

  • I also own a PS3, and in my opinion Little Big Planet is the Super Mario 64 of this gaming generation. If you want to add me as a friend on PSN, I'm Milez213.

  • Brycubed Productions doesn't really exist, at least for now, it's just my all-purpose company name for the various things that I do. (Like this website, or when I mowed lawns one Summer, or when I made my email address)

  • I play tennis. I like to think I'm pretty good at it, but when you boil it down, I'm probably at par with everyone else who's played tennis seriously for two years.

  • I'm as close as you can get to being a Simpsons fanatic while still having a life. Basically, I could probably tell you who wrote your favorite Simpsons joke, and who was running the show at the time.
